Which food partner had the lowest environmental impact?
As one of the world's greenest music festivals, Paradise City is dedicated to sustainability, and this year we proudly made our entire food court meat-free. This initiative ensures that every dish served has a minimal ecological impact, aligning with our commitment to a greener future. Each year, we recognize a food partner who goes above and beyond to support our environmental mission, and this year’s accolade goes to Pureto.
Pureto, operated by brothers Gaétan and Gilles, delighted festival-goers with their take on a beloved Belgian classic: grandmother's puree with sausage. This traditional dish, made with local Belgian potatoes as the centerpiece, was transformed into a fully plant-based offering. Not only did their bowls capture the comforting flavors of home, but they also boasted a low CO2 footprint, perfectly embodying our sustainability values.
Their dedication to creating delicious, environmentally friendly meals made them stand out for this year's Food Sustainability Award. Congratulations, Pureto – your commitment to combining taste with sustainability is well-deserved!
