Rex The Dog (live)
Rex The Dog, the alias of musician and visual artist Jake Williams, brings his idiosyncratic sounds to clubs and festivals worldwide with his self-built modular synthesiser. Formerly known as late 90s rave icon JX, Jake transitioned to Rex The Dog, favoring an analogue approach to music. Inspired by London's analogue electronica scene, he explores robotic sounds and emotionally charged songs. Rex's visual project includes a hand-drawn character used in artwork, videos, and merch. His tracks, like 'Change This Pain For Ecstasy', blend elements of JX's pop roots with the classic Rex The Dog underground sound, earning acclaim and support from DJs worldwide. With a series of new releases and updated versions of his JX hits on the horizon, Rex continues to captivate audiences with his evolving sound.
