Paradise City and Brosella will organise the sequel of Jazz Middelheim.

Back in November, the City of Antwerp launched a call to find a new promoter for a jazz event. That festival will succeed the well-known and iconic Jazz Middelheim, perhaps Belgium's most famous jazz event, which last took place in the summer of 2022. The jury selected one party from eight candidates that managed to convince with an ambitious and promising dossier. For this special occasion, we are joining forces with Brosella Festival.

Brosella is a well-known event in the capital that offers a varied program of urban ethno and jazz. They never fail to showcase projects by established names and top young talent from home and abroad. Together with this partner, Paradise City will keep the balance between tradition and innovation. We'll respect the history of Jazz Middelheim and the classic jazz tradition while keeping an open mind and an eye for innovation in the genre.

Going forward, we will start preparations for this new jazz festival in Park Den Brandt in Antwerp with a small event in the summer of 2024, setting the stage for a bigger festival in 2025.
