Paradise City has completely redesigned its mobility plan – and there’s a good reason for that. As seen from our numbers last year, visitors travelling by car accounted for the most significant part of our total CO2 emissions. By stimulating public transport options, we aim to reduce the number of visitors travelling by car from 59% to 40%, lowering our carbon footprint by 10%. Want to know how we are trying to get there? Let’s go through this year’s rail options.
A Paradise City ticket grants you a 50% price reduction for train travel from any rail station in Belgium to Vilvoorde. To claim this offer, you need to buy a special Paradise City Train Ticket. You will find a unique NMBS/SNCB code on your Paradise City Festival 2022 ticket, which you must submit when buying your train ticket online.
Additionally, there will be continuous free electronic shuttle buses between Vilvoorde station and the festival, offered by Brussels Airport. We ensure departures back and forth at least every 30 minutes.
Best of all (and in collaboration with NMBS/SNCB and with the support of the European Commission) we are proud to introduce a night train service. Visitors travelling to Brussels/Ghent or Mechelen/Antwerp can now reserve seats from Vilvoorde station after the festival hours for a reduced fee. Friday and Saterday night, there will be two trains:
- VILVOORDE – BRUSSELS – GHENT SINT PIETERS. (With stops in Brussels North, Brussels Central, Brussels Midi)
- VILVOORDE – MECHELEN – ANTWERP CENTRAL. (With stops in Mechelen, Mechelen Nekkerspoel, Duffel, Kontich-Lint, Mortsel Liersesteenweg, Antwerpen Berchem)
Boarding a night train is only possible with a Paradise City Night Train Ticket. The number of seats on each train is limited, so please book well ahead! Just like the regular Paradise City Train Ticket, you can buy a night train ticket with a 50% price reduction, thanks to the support of the European Commission.

As for our Hageland and Limburg visitors; we are happy to point you towards our night bus option if you travel to Leuven or Hasselt after the festival.
Sidenote: due to the high volume of travellers and the limited timeframe between the festival curfew and the departure of the night trains, our partner De Lijn will provide extra transfer buses taking all night train travellers to Vilvoorde station. However, unlike all other shuttle buses, these extra ones will not be electric.
