Paradise City is back this year and will take place from the 13th to the 15th of August! We received the green light from the local authorities and the festival will be organized at its full capacity.
It’s here, finally. We are proud to present you the first part of the line-up for Paradise City 2021. 85 selectors will display their skills across four stages. Last year, we had announced Âme (Live), Adriatique, KiNK and Axel Boman, and we’re delighted to tell you they have re-confirmed for this year’s edition. Alongside them, Roza Terenzi, Dj Tennis, Brina Knauss and MoMa Ready have joined the ranks!
To close down the festivities on Sunday, our biggest musical crush at the moment: Avalon Emerson! The former computer developer will perform a sublime closing set on the Silo Stage. If you haven’t heard her latest EP, we suggest you have a listen here…
We also can’t wait for you to check out the three legends and pioneers of house: New Yorker Kerri Chandler, Moodymann from Detroit (think of the classic I Can’t Kick This Feelin’ When It Hits) and Mr. G. Should be a hell of a Sunday!
This year also sees updates in our stage hosts: our dear friends from Antwerp Klub Dramatik will be curating some great techy and minimal sounds with Dyed Soundorom, Evan Baggs and S.A.M.
The French producer Mezerg will perform live for a spectacular show. Like every year, some carefully curated live performances will take place. You’ll be able to enjoy amazing shows with Max Cooper, Asa Moto, David Numwami, Sansibar, Susbrino, Arno Lemons or DC Salas who will be debuting his brand new live show at Paradise City.
The German collective Giegling will make a come-back on Sunday with Molly, Leafar Legov, map.ache and Elli.
As usual, we want to showcase our talented Belgian scene next to international heavyweights: more than 50% of performances will be from Belgian artists this year. Our rising star and resident Lola Haro will grace us with a memorable set as per usual. We also have Red D & Lefto, Le Motel, Nosedrip, AliA, DTM Funk, Lawrence Le Doux, Mika Oki & Zeta Lys, Bibi Seck, Cellini, John Noseda & Thang & Bafana, Kim Kenis, Walrus, Azo and many more coming to enchant us!
We still have a few surprises up our sleeves, as this is not the full line-up. We will release final acts next week! Until then, explore the line-up here.
Mark your agenda, this summer is gonna be off the charts 😉
Besides an impressive line-up, we also stay true to our festival’s sustainable roots and this year, you will see even more measures being taken to minimise our ecological footprint.
