Méni will play an intimate set on the Barefoot Stage on Friday (15:00-17:00). But don't expect the usual. In this tent, every artist is invited to dig a little deeper, to explore the soulful, funky, groovy corners of their record bags.
Belgian DJ, label owner, and record collector Méni (fka Menica, Sundae Sue) has been shaping dancefloors since 2012 with groove-driven sets rooted in jazz, funk, soul, and rhythm & blues. Growing up alongside Belgium’s electronic music scene, she naturally transitioned into DJing, blending nostalgic warmth with fresh energy. In 2017, she founded Ojoo Music, a label and event series celebrating boundary-pushing electronic sounds and fostering deep artist-dancer connections. Known for her carefully curated events and rising-talent showcases, Méni creates intimate, character-rich dance experiences. After a residency at Fuse Brussels in 2022, she now holds a residency at Funke in Ghent, continuing to shape Belgium’s underground scene with her passion for eclectic, groove-heavy music and a community-driven approach.
