Cashu

Cashu is a key figure in São Paulo's queer underground electronic music scene, known for her work that addresses urgent political issues. As a co-founder of the Mamba Negra collective, she has created a platform for diverse artists, organizing street events in unconventional spaces like artist squats, which push for female representation and sexual and gender freedom. Since its formation in 2013, Mamba Negra has expanded into a label, agency, and radio station. Cashu’s performances span São Paulo's electronic landscape, with appearances at renowned festivals such as Dekmantel in São Paulo, Panorama Bar/Berghain, and Red Bull Music Academy Festival. Her Rádio Vírus project, launched in 2015, connects local and international artists.
